White Pariahs: Quiet Rebels brings to our stages stories of the white working-class women who crossed the colour line to marry the men of the Windrush generation who emigrated to Britain after WWII. Th development of this show took place during the lockdown period, so all rehearsals and performances had to be delivered online.
Soul City Arts was invited to work with Dervish & Vital Xposure who worked together as co-producers to develop this show. This R&D preview was made entirely on the zoom platform and shared with an audience online. Soul City Arts has been pioneering immersive live-streams so was the ideal partner to bring this important story to online audiences during the challenging Covid19 period.
