We will have security staff for the duration of the event each evening, and throughout the night. when the site is closed We are doing our best to make our event family friendly and safe for all. Don’t forget, some of our nights fall on school nights, so please remember kids need to go to school the next day!

Is this event suitable for families?
Is there parking available?
Please don’t be that guy who parks on pavements! We have zero tolerance for those who park foolishly. Sadly we don’t have onsite parking, however there is parking available in the Morrisons across the road which allow 3 hours of free parking. Green Lane Mosque use the car park during prayers so do arrive early in order to get a space!
Can I park on the pavement?
No. We ask you to park properly and respectfully, so please don’t be that guy! We will be looking out for foolish parking.
Can I come if I am not Muslim and haven't been fasting?
Of course! We are inviting people of all background and faith to come along. This event is not just for those who have been fasting; if you just fancy a smash burger at night, we say ‘Ahlan Wa Sahlan!’ You’re welcome!
Do I have to pay to come to the event?
This is a free event! There is no ticket entry whatsoever as we have tried to be as accessible as possible. Many of our events do have ticket entry to cover some of our costs, but we have done our best to keep this one free. Yes, free, free FREE!
Will there be space to sit down and eat my food?
There will be a heated marquee on-site which has a limited amount of benches which you are most welcome to sit in. Just tuck in nicely so we can make space for everyone!
Is there limited capacity?
We are a smallish space, so therefore at times you may have to wait for entry. We will let you know when we are ready for you. Most likely you’re walking straight in, so all good.
Can I take pictures and video?
You are most welcome to film and photograph. Please be respectful not to directly film people who may not wish to be filmed. Please use your own judgement and be as respectful as you can!
I have a food/artisan business, how do I become a vendor?
We have limited spaces for both street food and artisan vendors. We have had to be selective to ensure we have a good variety of stalls with a high standard that reflects the landscape of our city. Please don’t take it personal if you were not successful!
Are there any provisions for prayer?
You may find space in the heated marquee, but you’re in Small Heath. No shortage of mosques, the nearest is 35 seconds away!
Are there any toilet facilities?
We have a few of those portable toilet cubicles, so if you really need you can use those. Otherwise there is the mosque nearby….
What time does the event start?
The space will be open to the public from 5.30pm until 12 midnight every.
Can I drive up and down Coventry Road and rev my engine?
If that’s why you are coming, then do us all a favour and book yourself a go-kart session to relieve yourself.
Is the food affordable?
We have kept the whole event free of charge for a reason. We want to make it easy for everybody. We have charged vendors only a nominal fee and have requested that they provide some affordable options. We are doing our best to look after you all,
