The Hubb Debates are a new series of open public debates exploring hard-hitting topics. A guest artist responds live to the conversation and flows throughout bringing the discussion and the creative output together as one experience.

The artist has the power to manouveure the conversation by challenging and provoking throughout, whilst bringing balance and diffusing moments of tension.

Hubb Debate Part 1 / Fear of the Immigrants was hosted by Unique Brown
Hubb Deabate Part 2 / State Surveillance was hosted by jazz vocalist and loop artist Cleveland Watkiss

The Hubb Debates is a concept shaped by Mohammed Ali and supported by the Arts & Humanities Research Council.
