Mohammed Ali won the ITV SOuth Bank Show Award in 2009. The South Bank show Awards are the only awards scheme of its kid in the country.
Mohammed Ali delivers an artist talk as part of the British Museum’s Hajj Exhibition. The exhibition which has been funded by the Saudi government, will be on display til April. As part of a special celebration, an evening of events took place called The Late, and Mohammed Ali was asked to speak about his work and practice as a muslim artist.
The film is a multi-million dollar dollar production – fhe first of its kind to come out of Turkey, following the story of Sultan Mehmet and the battle for Constatinople.
We have never seen such a demand for a film, which was sold out just in a couple of days. We were proud to bring this film to the British public and are looking forward to bringing more films, sharing the power of the moving image as a means for social change!

Founded by Graffiti artist Mohammed Ali aka AerosolArabic – a website is long overdue which displays the work that Soul City Arts has been delivering around the country and beyond. Soul City Arts has worked with the likes of City of Melbourne, Edinburgh Council, the British Council and many other organisations and entities. Our website will be launching this week and in the coming week, we will releasing a number of short films that we have commissioned around our resident artists – as a celebration of the launch of the website.
